Welcome to the record of my 2026 sketch-a-day diary.
Each day, I create a single portrait on a full page of my diary. To me, a diary is a living object, and as this special one unfolds day by day, I can release into it my artistic spirit, angst and vulnerability. Some days it’s a calming ritual, others I find myself releasing pent-up artistic creativity (usually after a day of emails and calls!). Ultimately, this is a diary of play.
I share this diary daily (say that with a glass of Malbec!) quietly with a small inner circle, revealing each portrait over time rather than all at once. Some pages have already been reserved for collectors who are part of the Secret Sketchbook Group and will be marked accordingly.
