This painting evoked some wonderful memories for me. My grandparents took me to Venice twice when I was young and I’ve long wished to return. Perhaps sometime soon, but in the meantime I can magically paint myself there. I particularly liked the early morning light. A peaceful ride before the rush and heat of the day.
