‘Funny Girls’ is part of Blackpool’s heritage and a must-do night out. This painting is the result of my evening spent in the company of the drag queens, where I was an invited guest, hanging around backstage, snapping photos, sketching and basically being the Toulouse Lautrec of Blackpool!
I won’t say exactly what was being said in this moment, but I think the accusing finger and priceless expressions speak for themselves!
